Technical Writer

Job Summary

To support software and hardware releases, the part-time Technical Writer will manage the documentation portfolio end-to-end, driving the content lifecycle from planning and authoring to publishing and maintenance in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, write, and publish user-friendly technical documentation for software and hardware releases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance documentation quality and align content with business objectives
• Analyze and improve documentation processes and tools to support customer-first content strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communication or a related field, with a focus on technical writing preferred
• 2-5 years of technical writing experience, including creating and publishing various types of documentation
• Strong proficiency with DITA XML authoring and associated workflows
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance content quality and efficiency
