Job Summary

Supporting a mission-critical DoD software development program, the full-time remote Technical Writer will develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation for software development, system sustainment, and acquisition activities
• Develop software requirements documentation, user guides, training materials, and operational documentation
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex concepts into clear documentation and maintain version-controlled repositories

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of technical writing experience in DoD software development or modernization programs
• Experience with version-controlled documentation repositories and collaborative documentation platforms
• Proficiency in using Government-approved generative AI tools and digital authoring technologies
• Active Secret Security Clearance
