Technical Writer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Technical Writer will be responsible for drafting and editing design documents for public-facing training and education materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards and stakeholder feedback.

Key responsibilities:

• Researching and preparing design documents for website content and training materials
• Editing and standardizing storyboards for training videos and ensuring document quality
• Collaborating with project teams to collect and integrate content from various sources into coherent documents

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Media and 5+ years of experience in technical document preparation and editing
• 6+ years of experience as a Graphic Artist or in Digital Media with multimedia editing skills
• 2+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Office Suite and experience developing Section 508-compliant training courses
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and residency in the U.S. for at least three of the last five years
