Technical Writer

Job Summary

Collaborating with subject matter experts and engineers, the remote Technical Writer will create and maintain user-friendly documentation for identity and access management (IAM) administrators in a Docs-as-Code environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design, and deliver clear documentation for IAM products by working closely with technical teams
• Research and learn about Ping Identity products to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation
• Utilize AsciiDoc and Git in a Docs-as-Code authoring environment while managing multiple documentation projects

Required qualifications

• 2-4+ years of technical writing experience, preferably with IAM applications or security products
• Experience creating markdown content and managing documentation tickets
• Familiarity with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence or similar project management tools
• Ability to learn complex software and features quickly in early-stage development environments
• Prior experience or exposure to software development processes
