Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Technical Writer.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of technical documentation, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures
Ensure accurate and concise documentation by researching and analyzing project engineering drawings and specifications
Collaborate with subject matter experts and lead team meetings to support the development of technical documentation

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2-year College Degree or 7+ years of Aviation/Aerospace and/or Defense work experience
In-depth knowledge of XML or SGML, and IETMs/IETPs
Strong working knowledge of MIL-STD-40051
Technical understanding of aircraft/engines, a plus
Knowledge of working in S1000D CSDBs or DITA CMS
