Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Writer/Editor to support documentation efforts for the Office of Child Support Enforcement program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write and edit technical documentation including procedures, reports, and manuals to meet contract requirements
  • Communicate with document authors and interview technical staff to gather necessary information for documentation
  • Ensure documents meet editorial standards and track the approval and archive process for deliverables
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-4 years of experience; experience may substitute for education
  • Intermediate hands-on experience with documentation tools, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Ability to work independently and in teams within a dynamic environment
  • Experience working directly with technical subject matter experts
