Job Summary
A company is looking for a Technical Writer/Editor to support documentation efforts for the Office of Child Support Enforcement program.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit technical documentation including procedures, reports, and manuals to meet contract requirements
- Communicate with document authors and interview technical staff to gather necessary information for documentation
- Ensure documents meet editorial standards and track the approval and archive process for deliverables
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2-4 years of experience; experience may substitute for education
- Intermediate hands-on experience with documentation tools, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with SharePoint
- Ability to work independently and in teams within a dynamic environment
- Experience working directly with technical subject matter experts
