Job Summary
Collaborating with project managers and subject matter experts, the full-time remote Technical Writer/Editor will research, write, and edit a variety of educational materials for the Veterans Health Administration's National Center for PTSD, ensuring content is clear, accurate, and accessible for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, edit, and revise materials supporting educational video production and public outreach initiatives
- Translate scientific literature and clinical guidance into plain language content suitable for public audiences
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency of educational content while maintaining a compassionate tone
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, Public Health, or a related discipline
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical writing and editing for healthcare, government, or educational organizations
- Demonstrated experience producing and editing professional written communications relevant to the role
