Technical Writer for Systems Requirements

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Writer, Systems Requirement Documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, structure, and maintain System Requirements Documents (SRDs) that articulate system functionality and performance expectations
• Translate business and user requirements into detailed, testable system-level requirements for development and QA teams
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and technical leads to ensure accuracy and completeness of requirements

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in systems analysis, technical writing, or requirements documentation for complex software or network systems
• Experience in the cable, telecommunications, or wireless industry is required
• Demonstrated experience producing SRDs, SRSs, or other structured technical documentation
• Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, or similar requirements management systems
