Job Summary
Supporting the Office of MaineCare Services, the full-time Technical Writer - Maine will develop clear communication materials related to Medicaid policies and regulations, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid/remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and publish various communication materials including provider bulletins, newsletters, and web content
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and manage the full document lifecycle
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and facilitate communication initiatives across teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3+ years of professional or technical writing experience
- Proven ability to simplify complex technical or policy information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
