Technical Writer - Secret Clearance

Job Summary

Supporting a high-impact DOD program, the full-time Technical Writer - Secret Clearance will develop and maintain technical documentation related to cybersecurity and Zero Trust initiatives while working in a secure, mission-driven environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including policies and standard operating procedures
• Author and manage Technical Orders (TOs), TSIPs, and Installation Plans (I-Plans)
• Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with DoD standards

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in technical writing within IT or cybersecurity environments
• Experience developing Technical Orders (TOs), TSIPs, or Installation Plans (I-Plans)
• Strong understanding of DoD documentation standards and compliance requirements
• Active Secret clearance (interim eligible)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
