Technical Writer with IAT II Certification
Job Summary
Supporting a cybersecurity project remotely, the Technical Writer with IAT II Certification will create, edit, organize, and present technical documentation and compliance artifacts while collaborating with project team members to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Key responsibilities
- Organize and maintain cybersecurity compliance controls and documentation to assist with project requirements
- Gather, develop, edit, and format technical information to support cybersecurity compliance and deliverables
- Collaborate with system engineers and architects to document the implementation of cybersecurity controls and capture compliance evidence
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- IAT II certification (Security+ or better) required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in technical writing or a similar skillset
- Familiarity with information technology and cybersecurity concepts
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/NACI Clearance required
