Technical Writer with Secret Clearance

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CANES Technical Writer (CLEARED) to support a U.S. Navy prototype initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and maintain all technical documentation throughout the prototype lifecycle
• Document system architecture, design decisions, deployment procedures, and testing results
• Translate complex technical inputs into concise, actionable documentation for diverse audiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5-8 years of experience in technical writing within a technical, engineering, Navy, or federal environment
• Navy or CANES program experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience developing and editing user manuals, SOPs, and system documentation
• Active Secret Clearance
