Technical Writer with Security Clearance

Job Summary

Supporting the U.S. Army CECOM ASIC program, the full-time Technical Writer with Security Clearance will independently author and edit comprehensive user documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy while collaborating with developers and engineers throughout the agile delivery cycle in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Author comprehensive user guides and role-based documentation tailored to distinct user groups
• Capture technical and functional details during sprint development to maintain alignment between software and documentation
• Conduct quality reviews of documentation to verify technical accuracy and adherence to style standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent education and experience
• 2-4 years of professional technical writing experience for software or IT systems
• Proficiency in authoring and formatting documentation, including integrating visuals
• Experience gathering source material from developers and subject-matter experts
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation deliverables
