Technical Writer with ServiceNow Expertise

Job Summary

To support a time-sensitive initiative, the freelance Technical Writer with ServiceNow expertise will create and maintain over 50 knowledge base articles and establish sustainable processes for HR policy governance in a fully remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Author and publish knowledge base articles across priority HR topics, consolidating information into a consistent, searchable format
• Develop SOP articles, reusable templates, and a style guide, while implementing a governed policy lifecycle process
• Train internal teams on new knowledge management and policy governance processes, tracking governance health and ensuring compliance

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience creating content in an enterprise knowledge base or content management platform, such as ServiceNow
• Intermediate proficiency using ServiceNow Knowledge Management as an author or contributor
• Experience building or operating governance processes, including review cycles and approval workflows
• Ability to manage a high-volume content schedule and meet milestone-driven deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and tracking
