Job Summary
Providing technical leadership and strategic guidance, the remote Technology Design Engineer will serve as the Owner's trusted advisor on IT infrastructure and data center projects, ensuring resilient and scalable solutions while translating business requirements into effective technology strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Owner's primary expert on technology strategy, design, and integration for data center projects
- Review and guide the design of structured cabling systems, network infrastructure, and IT spaces to meet industry standards
- Advise leadership on industry trends and innovations in data center technology, ensuring alignment with performance and growth objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 8+ years in data center design, IT infrastructure, or technology consulting
- Proven expertise in structured cabling, networking, and IT systems integration
- Experience with Owner's Representative or mission-critical projects strongly preferred
- Relevant certifications such as RCDD, CCNP/CCIE, or CDCDP
