Technology Director
Job Summary
Leading the strategic technology direction for DentalPlans.com, the full-time remote Technology Director will manage a blended team to develop actionable technology roadmaps, improve delivery processes, and evaluate AI capabilities to enhance operational performance.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business strategy and growth priorities into a clear technology roadmap while identifying technical implications and risks
- Establish and sustain delivery processes across software development and quality assurance to enhance reliability and predictability
- Lead and develop a blended team of internal and outsourced technology resources, fostering accountability and quality in deliverables
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive Information Technology experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles overseeing full IT functions
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Broad knowledge of technology stacks supporting direct-to-consumer digital businesses, including web and backend development
- Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and execution plans
- Hands-on experience with AI tools in engineering or operational workflows focused on business value
