Job Summary
Leading the design and standardization of physical conveyance infrastructure, the full-time salaried Telecom Conveyance Engineer will manage connectivity routing strategies for data center campuses, focusing on prefabricated and modular solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical strategy for outside plant connectivity pathways, ensuring scalability and compliance with standards
- Lead the design and standardization of inside plant connectivity pathways, integrating various systems for efficient installation
- Drive the prefabrication strategy for pathway assemblies, establishing modular design packages and field installation standards
Required Qualifications
- Degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or architectural engineering
- 12+ years of experience in data center design, focusing on cable pathway and physical distribution infrastructure
- Experience with outside plant design, including underground duct banks and inter-building connectivity pathways
- Demonstrated expertise in structured cabling pathway standards and applicable building codes
- Ability to resolve complex multi-trade coordination challenges across engineering and construction teams
