Telecom Expense Management Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Telecom Expense Management Analyst will manage end-to-end telecom financial management, including invoice auditing, budget forecasting, and vendor expense analysis, while leveraging data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Leased Circuit Strategy Initiative by analyzing inventory for opportunities to reduce annual wireline spend
• Perform detailed invoice audits to identify billing inaccuracies and manage budget tracking and forecasting processes
• Maintain accurate telecom inventory tracking and generate reports to communicate spending trends and cost-saving recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field, or 5+ years of TEM experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Telecom Expense Management or IT financial analysis
• High-level proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Power BI
• Familiarity with TEM software platforms (e.g., Tangoe, TEOCO, Sakon)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex telecom data for cross-functional teams
