Telecom Expense Management Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the IT TEM (Telecom Expense Management) Analyst will manage end-to-end telecom financial management, including invoice auditing, budget forecasting, and vendor expense analysis while identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the client's Leased Circuit Strategy Initiative by analyzing inventory to identify opportunities for cost reductions
• Conduct detailed reviews of telecom wireline invoices to identify billing inaccuracies and overcharges
• Maintain accurate telecom inventory tracking and generate reports to communicate spending trends and cost-saving recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field, or 5+ years of TEM experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Telecom Expense Management or IT financial analysis
• High-level proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Power BI
• Familiarity with TEM software platforms (e.g., Tangoe, TEOCO, Sakon)
• Ability to translate complex telecom data into simple terms for cross-functional teams
