Telecom Expense Management Manager

Job Summary

Providing leadership and oversight for telecom circuit expense management, the full-time salaried Telecom Expense Management Manager will govern approximately $18M in annual operating expenses, focusing on invoice auditing, cost allocation, and variance tracking while working remotely across the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial management for all IP and TDM circuits, including invoice processing and budget accuracy
• Analyze cost trends and lead root cause resolution to improve forecasting and reduce expenses
• Design and improve audit strategies to ensure budget accuracy and compliance with governance standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of telecommunications experience in Carrier Cost/Expense Management and analysis
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Strong understanding of voice and data networks, including circuit hierarchy and telecom billing relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with experience using database applications
