Job Summary
Leading modernization initiatives, the contract Telecom OSS Architect with mainframe experience will focus on overseeing large-scale projects, leveraging deep technical expertise in telecom OSS infrastructure and IBM Mainframe technologies, while working remotely or from Dallas, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and lead cross-functional modernization programs for telecom OSS infrastructure
- Architect and implement solutions utilizing mainframe technologies and modern architecture, including APIs and microservices
- Drive mainframe modernization efforts, applying generative AI tooling for legacy code comprehension and refactoring
Required qualifications
- Extensive experience with IBM Mainframe technologies (z/OS, JCL, IMS, VSAM, CICS)
- Proven track record of leading large-scale legacy modernization programs using tiered disposition models
- Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, and enterprise ETL migration tools
- Hands-on experience with real-time API enablement patterns and data replication approaches
- Familiarity with generative AI tools for modernization tasks and defining AI delivery acceleration
