Telecom Principal Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large-scale healthcare environment, the full-time salaried Telecom Principal Network Engineer will manage the design, deployment, and optimization of Cisco telephony solutions while ensuring compliance with telecommunications regulations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain enterprise standards for Cisco voice and telephony deployments
• Provide technical leadership for the design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Cisco telephony solutions
• Drive continuous improvement efforts, including process standardization, documentation, and operational best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Eight years of experience in network engineering, with at least two years in a senior or principal level role
• Advanced knowledge and experience with network routing, switching, LAN/WAN, wireless, network design and architecture, network protocols, and network security
• Proven ability to lead and mentor network engineers
• Advanced networking certifications desired
