Telecom Regulatory Consultant

Job Summary

Serving as a subject-matter expert, the full-time remote Telecom Regulatory Consultant will manage complex client engagements related to telephone numbering administration, local number portability, and regulatory filings while mentoring junior staff and representing the firm in industry forums.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AOCN services and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Administer Local Number Portability (LNP) activities and coordinate with carriers and regulatory organizations
• Prepare and submit FCC regulatory filings and maintain documentation related to numbering resources

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience in telecommunications numbering/regulatory services
• 5+ years of experience in telephone numbering administration, local number portability, or telecom regulatory compliance
• Demonstrated knowledge of LERG, BIRRDS, CLLI codes, NECA databases, NPAC, and SOA/porting systems
• Experience preparing and filing FCC regulatory forms on behalf of clients
• Familiarity with industry forums such as CIGGR, INC, and NPIF
