Telecommunications Analyst

Job Summary

To join the IT Network Planning team, the contract IT TEM (Telecom Expense Management) Analyst will work remotely for 12 months, focusing on telecom financial management, including invoice auditing, inventory tracking, and vendor expense analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Leased Circuit Strategy Initiative by analyzing inventory for opportunities to reduce wireline spending
• Conduct detailed invoice audits with the TEM provider to identify billing inaccuracies and overcharges
• Maintain accurate telecom inventory tracking and generate reports to communicate spending trends and cost-saving recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field, or 5+ years of TEM experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Telecom Expense Management or IT financial analysis
• High-level proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Power BI
• Familiarity with TEM software platforms (e.g., Tangoe, TEOCO, Sakon)
• Excellent ability to translate complex telecom data for cross-functional teams
