Telecommunications Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Telecommunications Engineer who possesses extensive knowledge of the telecommunication industry and network architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing operations support communications systems and technological alternatives
• Design and implement communications interfaces, including engineering documentation and network configurations
• Provide Tier 3 customer support and advanced troubleshooting for deployed systems

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Telecommunications preferred with 15 years' experience in voice/data network engineering
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience
• Experience designing and implementing IP telephony systems
• Understanding of network infrastructure and protocols, including LAN/WAN/VoIP protocols
• Recent experience designing, developing, and implementing communications networks for public transit industry applications
