Telecommunications Engineer III

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, a Telecommunications Engineer III will manage the design and installation of in-building network architectures, troubleshoot cabling systems, and coordinate installation projects for broadband services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and install equipment for transmitting broadband data over in-building networks
• Evaluate multi-tenant buildings for compatibility with various networks and systems
• Produce technical as-built documentation and provide operational support for field engineering teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience
• 5-7 years of experience in telecommunications engineering
• Hands-on experience with coax, twisted pair copper, or fiber optic cabling
• Experience managing large build projects involving broadband services
• Ability to work off ladders and drill in commercial buildings
