Telecommunications Engineer - Utah

Job Summary

To support remote operations, the contract Telecommunications Engineer - Utah will manage the design and installation of equipment for broadband data transmission, coordinate new in-building network installations, and provide operational support for field engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and install equipment for transmitting broadband data over in-building networks
• Coordinate the installation of new networks and evaluate building compatibility
• Produce technical documentation and support local engineering and sales teams

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications engineering
• Experience with coax, twisted pair copper, or fiber optic cabling
• Knowledge of in-building network architectures and CATV provider termination points
• Ability to work off ladders and drill in various building types
• Must possess a vehicle for transporting tools and equipment
