Job Summary
To support a growing telecommunications initiative, the remote contracted Telecommunications Transition Order Specialist will prepare and process complex transition orders, ensuring quality assurance and effective coordination with stakeholders while managing a high volume of service actions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and process telecommunications transition orders, including service starts, discontinuances, and modifications
- Perform quality assurance checks on Telecommunication Requests (TRs) to prevent processing delays and billing errors
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment of technical requirements prior to migration dates
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive IT experience in telecommunications provisioning or technical customer support
- Associate or Technical degree, or a minimum of 6 years of general IT experience in lieu of a degree
- Active or interim Tier 1 (T1/NACI) security clearance eligibility
- Availability to process orders and attend team syncs during specified hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday)
- Experience with telecommunications circuit provisioning and carrier service workflows
