Job Summary
An online education provider has a current position open for a Telecommute 2018 to 2019 School Year Secondary Math Teacher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Completing all grading, creating progress reports and conducting parent conferences
- Reviewing curriculum and devising alternate approaches to lessons for understanding
- Supporting the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous instruction
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Math in New Mexico
- Strong technology skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
