Job Summary
A software development company is in need of a Telecommute 3D Grooming Artist.
Must be able to:
- Create detailed hair grooms for a wide variety of human characters
- Collaborate with character artists, animators, and riggers to make sure the hair works across the pipeline
- Generate hair grooms while keeping the scene as light and organized as possible
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience and a portfolio that demonstrates hair grooming abilities
- Understanding of the 3D pipeline and how hair integrates into a workflow
- Knowledge of Maya and XGen or something similar
- Ability to create detailed hair grooms for a wide variety of human characters
- Self motivated and able to design hairstyles based on limited reference material
- Attention to detail
