Job Summary
A university has a current position open for a Telecommute Academic Quality Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintaining oversight and managing student and program-level assessments
- Developing and implementing strategies to meet and maintain accreditation standards within the school
- Coordinating training for School of Counseling administrators and faculty
Position Requirements Include:
- Some travel required (once per quarter)
- Earned doctorate in the area of Counselor Education or Counselor Education and Supervision
- Substantial experience with programmatic accreditation and the state approvals processes
- 5+ years teaching, advising and mentoring experience
- Experience in chairing or serving on dissertation and thesis committees
- Significant record of intellectual and professional contributions to the field of counseling
- Experience in faculty/staff development, supervision and evaluation
- Experience in training counselors in a distance learning environment
