Job Summary

An open source software company has an open position for a Telecommute Accessibility Project Manager in Chicago.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the development, adoption and enforcement of accessibility compliance policies
  • Collaborating with internal teams for compliance and training including UXd, Creative, Creative Technology
  • Promoting and engaging with potential clients

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Teach on-site training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology specialty, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ year’s digital accessibility experience
  • Expert Level understanding of applicable guidelines including WCAG, and PDF/UA
  • Familiarity with legal requirements and implications for our clients including 508, Section 1557 and the ADA
  • All other requirements necessary for this position
