Job Summary

A financial services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Accountant in San Francisco.

Must be able to:

  • Manage the General Ledger and post all journal entries
  • Perform accounts Payable and Receivable administration
  • Create and maintain the Chart of Accounts

Position Requirements Include:

  • Attending regular on-site client meetings
  • 1-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. Experience with Xero, NetSuite, and other ERP systems is a plus!
  • Experience working with ADP, Gusto, Paychex or other third-party payroll service providers
  • Prompt and proactive communication with external clients and internal colleagues
