Telecommute Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A health service company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Working the aging accounts and collect pending receivable payments from insurance companies
• Checking each insurance payment for accuracy, including contract-discount compliance
• Providing additional education back to team members on Member specifics or payer guidelines

Required Skills:

• Two years of experience in full-cycle medical billing or schooling
• Three years of customer service experience
• Be fluent in billing language and comfortable with AR software
• Healthcare compliance and terminology knowledg
• Critical and analytical thinking skills to help resolve billing issues and collect payments
• Ability to resolve payment issues and effectively follow up with insurance companies
