Telecommute Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary

A technology company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Checking each insurance payment for accuracy, including contract-discount compliance
• Regularly reviewing accounts and prepare information for the collection agency
• Calling insurance companies to settle payment discrepancies or investigate unpaid claims

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Ability to resolve payment issues and effectively follow up with insurance companies
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines, especially those associated with Medicare and Medicaid as well as ICD-10 and CPT codes
• Critical and analytical thinking skills to help resolve billing issues and collect payments
• Be fluent in billing language and comfortable with AR software
• Two years of experience in full-cycle medical billing or schooling
• Three years of customer service experience
