Job Summary
An insurance company is in need of a Telecommute Actuarial Analyst.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Analyzing healthcare cost and utilization data
- Supporting consulting actuaries in the development and implementation of pricing initiatives
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of Long Term Care (LTC) pricing and projection
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- 2-5 years of relevant Actuarial experience
- Minimum of two Society of Actuaries exams passed
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to quickly learn and apply actuarial concepts and calculations as directed
