Telecommute Actuarial Science Director

Job Summary

A non-profit health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Actuarial Science Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Evaluating and recommending DSNP growth opportunities to Senior Management
• Leading and supporting development of go-to-market strategies associated with DSNP opportunities
• Leading a team of actuaries ensuring compliance with applicable Actuarial Standards of Practice

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or a related field is required
• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience is required
• Minimum of ten (10) years of decision support, financial analysis, or actuarial experience is required
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Suite to include Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
• Ability to lead audits of data and models
• Ability to interact with all levels of management as well as external stakeholders
