Job Summary
A global healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Actuarial Services Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Leads and manages teams with responsibility for coaching actuaries and developing student actuaries
- Understand and interpret key drivers of health care trends
- Conduct and evaluate studies on pricing, utilization and health care costs and manage the development of pricing methodologies and assumptions
Qualifications for this position include:
- Undergraduate Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics or related degree
- Basic or higher level of proficiency with Excel, SAS (Statistical Analysis System) and/or SQL (Structured Query Language)
- 5+ years of Actuarial experience
- Actuarial experience in the health care or finance industry
