A community college has an open position for a Telecommute Adjunct Graphic Design Assistant Professor in Overland Park.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Teaching program curriculum
- Adopting and integrating new technologies into the classroom and into the coursework
- Committing to teaching and mentoring students
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability be on-site for limited face-to-face meetings with students
- Associate's degree in Graphic Design/Illustration
- 5 years or more professional design experience
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to teach and demonstrate a range of drawing systems to conceptualize and solve visual problems
- Demonstrated mastery of visual perception principles and formal composition in graphic communication
