Job Summary

A chemical company is filling a position for a Telecommute Administrative Intellectual Property Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing and maintaining the company’s IP strategy according to the core business strategy
  • Devising and implementing differing IP protection strategies for different technologies
  • Searching patent information databases relating to new inventions and development projects

Required Skills:

  • Minimum BS degree in chemistry
  • Considerable experience in writing scientific literature reviews
  • Experience working within a research and development environment
  • Experience with search tools and databases and forward/reverse citation analysis
  • Experience with chemical structure searching
