Job Summary

Information technology consulting company is in need of a Telecommute Advisory Consultant Big Data.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Leveraging technical and business experience to position big data analytics and 3rd Platform solutions with clients
  • Helping clients with the technical components of their solutions, but also in other areas such as IT organizational model, data governance, data quality, and the process for building capabilities in analytics

Required Skills:

  • LINUX/UNIX admin skills
  • Experience in designing big data architectures involving Hadoop (Hive, HBase, Pig, HDFS, Zookeeper) and NoSQL technologies including hands-on implementation/delivery
  • Experienced in data governance and data management concepts
  • Experience in designing and delivery Hadoop / data lake architectures and solutions based this architecture
