Job Summary
An IT company is seeking a Telecommute After Hours Linux Cloud Virtualization Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Taking and resolving complex Racker and customer escalations through multiple support mediums
- Overseeing and repairing multiple levels of virtualized cloud infrastructure
- Advocating for changes to infrastructure on customers’ or customer support teams’ behalf
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, may include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with XenServer
- Above average Linux knowledge
- Good network administration and network troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field or equivalent work experience
- All other requirements necessary for this position
