Job Summary
A staffing agency has a current position open for a Telecommute Agile DevOps Engineer in Fairfax.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Configure and manage our PCF environments, and sometimes writing, revising, and maintaining cookbooks
- Provide support for the full life cycle of software product development
- Utilize your extensive knowledge of Ruby and Ruby on Rails
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Partial Remote
- Demonstrated experience with developing and deploying multi-tier web-based applications, preferably using Ruby as a programming platform
- Associates Degree or minimum of 5 years of experience in the software development field
- Strong SQL coding background; understanding of SQL statement optimization/tuning
- Infrastructure automation scripting experience; Chef preferred, but can be any modern scripting language
- All other requirements listed by the company
