A company specializing in product-oriented education is seeking a Telecommute Agile Senior Backend Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Analyzing and improving the efficiency and reliability
• Writing code with best-practices
• Participating in peer code review

Qualifications Include:

• 4+ years of strong development experience in our stack, especially Ruby on Rails/GraphQL
• Debugging, quality-assurance and performance analysis experience
• Strong understanding of TDD and RSpec best practices
• Ability to accurately set timelines and to clearly define specifications
• Ability to work efficiently and manage trade-offs when faced with conflicting deadlines
