Job Summary
An online education provider has a current position open for a Telecommute Algebra Instructor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Meeting specific course and school-wide student performance goals
- Participating in blended learning models, which includes both on-line and classroom instruction and interaction with students at various schools and districts across the state
- Assisting in assessing changing curricular needs and offer plans for improvement
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Occasional travel to various schools as daily work locations, lab visits, meetings, trainings, and conferences; assigned locations will vary, and may require overnight stays
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in content area assigned OR proof of active enrollment in a state-approved EPI or MAT program
- A valid Florida state-issued Statement of Eligibility OR valid Temporary Certificate in content area assigned
- Endorsements as required by Florida Department of Education
- One year successful teaching experience within the subject area
- Or successful completion of an instructional internship program
- Or current enrollment in an approved EPI or MAT program
