Job Summary
A medical peer review company is in need of a Telecommute Allergy and Immunology Medical Reviewer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Performing utilization reviews for various types of procedures and medications from pre-authorizations to appeals
- Providing comprehensive physician review solutions to payer and provider organizations
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be certified with ABMS (American Board of Medical Specialties) - Allergist / Immunologist
- Must be in Active Practice (treating patients for at least 8 hours per week)
- Must have graduated from Medical School for at least 5 years
- Current active and unrestricted (without sanctions) Florida Medical License
- Strong writing skills, computer literacy, including word processing, web applications and email
- Must type at least 30-40 words per minute – accurately
