Job Summary

A microtransit service provider is filling a position for a Telecommute Android Developer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Supporting and troubleshooting issues
• Using software development best practices to write code
• Building/maintaining real-time, performant native Android applications

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of design and UX principles for mobile interfaces
• Experience communicating with secure JSON-based REST APIs
• Mastery of Java/XML, developing applications Android 8+
• Familiarity with developing with Firebase
• Solid understanding of application security and best practices
• Experience developing and maintaining unit/functional tests
