Job Summary
A fitness, nutrition and supplement brand is in need of a Telecommute Android Developer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing new features and optimizing/debugging current features to take our app from Good to Great
- Writing Clean Code that is testable, reliable, flexible and efficient
- Working with the stakeholders to define, design and ship new features
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience with development tools including Android Studio and git
- Demonstrated knowledge of Android SDK, including programming for different versions and screen sizes
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin
- Proven knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and programming best practices
- Experience with APIs, offline storage, background processing, threading, and performance optimization
- 5+ years experience focused on native Android applications
