Job Summary

A consulting and services company has an open position for a Telecommute Apache Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing, engineering & evangelizing Apache Kafka & Spark
  • Performing optimization and tuning of Kafka & Spark
  • Designing monitoring solutions and baseline statistics reporting

Required Skills:

  • Travel: some limited travel to Boston if required
  • Bachelor's degree in a computing, science, or engineering discipline
  • 8+ years of work experience in an enterprise computing environment
  • Experience with system design & engineering, implementation and operations
  • Experience with Data Processing Frameworks and Architectures.
  • Knowledge/experience with other technologies as listed by company
