Job Summary
A clean energy solutions company has an open position for a Telecommute API Platform Principal Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Empowering third parties to create their own class of renewable energy offerings
- Developing and maintaining a great developer experience for our customers' engineering teams
- Guiding architectural decisions that set us up for success in the future
Position Requirements Include:
- Experience working on APIs as a Product, and well-versed in the architecture and design choices that enable it to scale
- Experience building performant and highly-available backend systems in at least one server-side language
- Experience building documentation portals, admin consoles, QA sandboxes, and other tools to aid with the developer experience
- Experience building B2B products, including interfacing directly with end customers and participating in the sales process
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
